Roll Back Relief Grants Pierce County

Roll back relief grants are now available to qualifying businesses and non profits. On Friday, April 16, restrictions rolled back to Phase 2 of the Healthy Washington Reopening. That means reducing capacity for indoor activities back down to 25%. These restrictions significantly impact businesses such as restaurants and gyms.

Pierce County has created a grant program to help offset some of the costs associated with this. These need-based grants mean up to $10,000 for businesses and non-profits.

Hurry – The Application Deadline is this coming Friday, April 23 at 5 pm.

Eligible businesses and non-profits that could qualify include:

  • Caterers, restaurants, taprooms, and similar eating and drinking establishments as long as they don’t have drive through
  • In-store retail
  • Establishments like theaters, museums, and entertainment venues
  • Fitness facilities, gyms, and bowling centers
  • Farmers markets

Businesses must not have more than 20 full time employees to be eligible. That includes the business owner. However, that limit is not in place for eating and drinking establishments.
