Become a Transit Leader in Your Community!

Join Pierce Transit’s Community Transportation Advisory Group (CTAG)

and help shape our public transportation future.

Are you or someone you know interested in having a hand in the development of public transit in Pierce County?

The Community Transportation Advisory Group (CTAG) consists of 9 – 12 volunteer representatives from across Pierce Transit’s service area who are willing to become involved, study issues, provide feedback, and make recommendations on plans, policies, and services related to Pierce Transit. The CTAG meets monthly, serving in an advisory capacity to Pierce Transit’s governing Board. A term is three years and apart from having influence on the direction of transit in your community, the opportunity to develop leadership skills as the Chair or Vice-Chair is possible for any active member.

Pierce Transit is currently soliciting applications from individuals residing or employed within Pierce Transit’s service area.

Check out the application here or pick one up at Pierce Transit Headquarters, 3701 96th Street SW, Lakewood, WA 98499, weekdays, 8am-5pm.

Applications are due Monday, October 2, 2023. Pierce Transit will review all applications and schedule interviews for the month of October. A selection will be made by the Pierce Transit Board of Commissioners at a Board of Commissioners’ meeting prior to the new year. New members’ responsibilities will start January 2024. All applicants will receive acknowledgment and notification of their status in the selection process.
