Adaptation Costs for Reopening – Grants
As businesses work to meet the criteria for reopening, some are incurring some pretty hefty expenses with the new safety practices. Pierce County recognizes that and has created a grant program to help offset some of the costs. To be eligible, businesses must:
If you qualify, you may be awarded grants up to 50% of your costs, with a maximum grant of $8000. (Maximums are $10,000 for exceptions such as skilled nursing homes and long term care facilities.)
- Be actively open
- Be physically located in Pierce County
- Have a written safety plan
- Have itemized receipts of safety products already purchases and photos of your workplace and be able to provide this documentation for Covid related expenses.
