Applying for PPP Loan Forgiveness can be a daunting task. Many small businesses are struggling to survive. Therefore, the time and resources required to apply for loan forgiveness may take a backseat to business stabilization. Although the SBA and treasury announced an EZ application, in June, many businesses did not qualify to use it.
On Thursday, Sept. 17, from 1:00-2:30 pm, the Washington Retail Association is offering a free webinar to help businesses navigate the complexities of applying for forgiveness.
They will cover topics such as the required documentation needed for application as well as what needs to be maintained. Additionally, they’ll cover the impact of EIDL Loans on the PPP. They’ll go over payroll use, and costs calculations. The program will be applicable to not only employers, but also for self-employed individuals.
The 3 presenters are all from Washington and represent the Seattle District office of the US SBA and from the Washington SBDC.
