The FME Chamber welcomes member business representatives to participate in the Ambassador Program.

Our Ambassadors are Business Champions and their goals are to increase the visibility of their company while improving the business climate in Pierce County. They'll build leadership skills, network with others, have fun and promote the FME Chamber along the way.

Responsibilities

• Meet once per month as a committee on the first Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. at the FME Chamber Office
• Contact new and renewing members for defined program reasons: member services, retention, promotion or more. Engagement programs will be developed with FME Chamber leadership.
• Attend and assist at event check-in and serve as Ambassador greeters
• Attend and encourage others to attend ribbon cutting ceremonies and open houses of other FME Chamber members
• Act as a liaison between member businesses and Chamber leadership
• Foster new member engagement in Chamber programs, events, and committees

Expectations of Ambassadors:

• Be a member in good standing
• Commit to one year of service (minimum)
• Represent the FME Chamber in a professional manner
• Reach out to your member list at least 2 times per year
• Attend at least 75% of  monthly Ambassador Committee meetings
• Actively invite Chamber members and non-members to attend Chamber events
• Attend 60% of Networking Events, Member Luncheons, Ribbon Cuttings, and/or other Special Events
• Support Chamber membership with new member leads and referrals
• Assist at events
